The Portfolio

 

The "Nouveau Salon des Cent" portfolio consists of a hundred posters created by one hundred of the best graphic designers of our time, from 24 different countries including China, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, Zimbabwe, the United-States and most of the European countries, as a tribute to Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, for the Centenary of his death, 1901-2001. Initiated by the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum Partners' Club. In cooperation with the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum of Albi. The printing was limited to only 380. The posters have been exhibited in major museums and galleries around the world.

 

The Designer - Bruno Oldani

 

Born 14 March 1936, Zurich, Switzerland. Permanent resident in Norway since 1958. 1957 Trainee in communication design (4 years) culminating in a diploma at Kunstgewerbeschule in Zurich, Switzerland.

 

1960 Visiting student in fashion/ illustration/ chromatology at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Zurich, Switzerland.

 

Visiting student in industrial design at SHKS, the National College of Art, Crafts and Design, Oslo.

 

Fields: Communication design, graphic and typographical design, corporate identity, packaging design, editorial design of newspapers and periodicals, book covers, LP & CD covers, illustrations, television graphics, signaqe and information systems, audio-visual programs.
