The Portfolio

 

The "Nouveau Salon des Cent" portfolio consists of a hundred posters created by one hundred of the best graphic designers of our time, from 24 different countries including China, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, Zimbabwe, the United-States and most of the European countries, as a tribute to Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, for the Centenary of his death, 1901-2001. Initiated by the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum Partners' Club. In cooperation with the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum of Albi. The printing was limited to only 380. The posters have been exhibited in major museums and galleries around the world.

Freelance illustration and design for Iranian newspapers and magazines. Became designer and then art director of Pars Studio, Seven Up Corporation, Ketab Hafteh, Roudaki, Farhango-Zendegi, Cinema, Kelt, Goft-o-gu, Peyam Emrouz, Zaman from 1962 onward (all Iranian cultural magazines).

 

Other activities: Lecturer at Graphic design Dep. Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tehran; director of 3 animations films; art director and designer for the Tehran International Film Festival; member of national and international juries in many festivals and art competitions.

 

Member of Alliance Graphique Internationale; Academy of Art, Iran. Board Chairman of the Iranian Graphic Designers Society; vice president of the Iranian Artist Forum.
