The Portfolio

 

The "Nouveau Salon des Cent" portfolio consists of a hundred posters created by one hundred of the best graphic designers of our time, from 24 different countries including China, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, Zimbabwe, the United-States and most of the European countries, as a tribute to Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, for the Centenary of his death, 1901-2001. Initiated by the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum Partners' Club. In cooperation with the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum of Albi. The printing was limited to only 380. The posters have been exhibited in major museums and galleries around the world.

Born in Katowice in 1931. Graduated from the Cracow Academy of Fine Art / Graphic Art department in Katowice in 1952.

 

Freelance graphic and poster designer. Author of more than a thousand posters. The most important awards

 

1959 First Toulouse-Lautrec award. 1962 Third Toulouse-Lautrec award. 1970 First prize 10th Biennale in Sao Paulo. 1972 Silver medal at the International Poster Biennale in Warsaw. 1976 Gold medal at the International Poster Biennale in Warsaw. 1977 First prize at the Poster Biennale in Lahti. 1975 First prize at the Annual Film Poster Competition of 'Hollywood Reporter' in Los Angeles. 1985 Gold and bronze medals at the International Jazz Poster Exhibition in Bydgoszcz.
