The Designer - Michael Schwab

Originally from Oklahoma, Michael Schwab lives in Marin County, California, where he has established his studio to become one of the leading graphic artists in the United States.

He has created national award winning brands, corporate identities and posters for many clients including Apple, Levi's, Coke, Nike, Polo, Pebble Beach, Robert Mondavi, The National Parks, The U.S. Department of the Interior, Sundance, Wells Fargo and The San Francisco Opera.

Michael's work is known for its large, fiat areas of colour, dramatic perspectives, and bold, graphic images of archetypal people.

His work is eye-catching in its simplicity.

After graduating from L.A.'s Art Center College of Design, Michael moved to Marin County in northern California where he and his wife, photographer Kathryn Kleinman, and their two sons now live. Michael Schwab is now winning awards in every major graphic design and illustration show, and is being featured in publications worldwide.

He is currently creating the official graphics for the Salt Lake Olympic Winter Games of 2002.

A large format book of Michael's work is now available featuring his many dramatic posters, brands and logos.
