The "Nouveau Salon des Cent" portfolio
consists of a hundred posters created by one hundred of the best graphic designers
of our time, from 24 different countries including China, Japan, Mexico, Brazil,
Zimbabwe, the United-States and most of the European countries, as a tribute to
Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, for the Centenary of his death, 1901-2001. Initiated
by the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum Partners' Club. In cooperation with the Toulouse-Lautrec
Museum of Albi. The printing was limited to only 380. The posters have been exhibited
in major museums and galleries around the world.

The Designer - Finn Nygaard
He was born in 1955 Aarhus, Denmark.
After being trained at a graphic design studio and Danish School of Art and Design
he established his own studio Finn Nygaard Design in 1979. There he was involved
in creating posters, illustrations, graphic design and corporate identity programmes,
murals and colour consulting for Danish and international companies. He has created
over 200 posters, and has received awards for many of them. Finn Nygaard works
in a variety of styles and media and he has had several one-man shows of his designs
and illustrations, which have been exhibited in major galleries and museums all
over the world and several of his posters have found their way into permanent
collections: The Israel Museum, Danish Industrial Museum, Musee de la Publicite,
Paris, The Merrill C. Berman Collection, New York USA, St-Petersburg State Museum,
Pecsi Hungary, Lahti Finland, Postermuseum Poland etc.
Finn Nygaard's work
has been the subject of numerous magazines, newspaper articles, Graphis, Print
Magazine, Novum, Germany, Who's Who in Graphic Design, First Choice...
1990-1995 his studio was a partner of the Danish design group Eleven Danes and
the European Designers Network EDEN. Finn Nygaard has been a member of the faculty
at The Danish Design School, Copenhagen and the DK, Design School Kolding and
is a frequent guest lecturer to student and professional groups. Finn Nygaard
is a member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale, AGI and a member of Danish
