The Portfolio
The "Nouveau Salon des Cent" portfolio consists of a
hundred posters created by one hundred of the best graphic designers
of our
time, from 24 different countries including China, Japan, Mexico,
Brazil, Zimbabwe, the United-States and most of the European countries,
as a tribute to Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, for the Centenary of
his
death, 1901-2001. Initiated by the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum Partners'
Club. In cooperation with the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum of Albi.
The
printing was limited to only 380. The posters have been exhibited
in major museums and galleries around the world. View

The Designer - Grzegorz Marszalek
I was born on 10th of December in 1946 in Swinna near Zywiec.
I study on Painting, Graphics and Sculpture Department in Academy
of Fine Arts in Poznan.
I graduate with mention from the class of prof. Lucjan Mianowski
and prof. Waldemar Swierzy. I spend three months on scholarship
from French government in the Ecole superieure des arts decoratifs
in Paris. I received three months scholarship from Dutch government
in Studio Dumbar where I learned about the teaching systems in
several Dutch art schools. I worked as a lecturer, as an associate
professor, and as a professor. I became a head of Typography and
Illustration Studio.
I was a head of Graphic Design chair. I became a professor of
fine arts (Professor's degree). I took over the post of the head
of the Poster and Illustration Studio in Academy of Applied Arts
in Poznan. I took over the post of the head of the Poster Studio
in Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan. I was a head of the chair of
visual Communication Studio on Multimedia Communication Department
in Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan. I do illustration, drawing and
applied graphic. I cooperate regularly with: City Publishing House
(Poznan), A Guide to Poznan, Culture, Sport and Tourism 'IKS',
daily press 'Glos Wielkopolski', Polish edition of 'Playboy', and
with foreign agencies as Studio Dumbar in the Hague, Top Drawers
and Studio Anthon Beeke in Amsterdam, CDT in London.

1971 I take part in all exhibitions of International Poster Biennale
in Warsaw, Brno, Lahti, Fort Collins, Toyama and Ogaki. I was a
member of jury of 14th International Poster Biennale in Warsaw
in 1994.
