The Portfolio
The "Nouveau Salon des Cent" portfolio consists of a
hundred posters created by one hundred of the best graphic designers
of our
time, from 24 different countries including China, Japan, Mexico,
Brazil, Zimbabwe, the United-States and most of the European countries,
as a tribute to Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, for the Centenary of
his
death, 1901-2001. Initiated by the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum Partners'
Club. In cooperation with the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum of Albi.
The
printing was limited to only 380. The posters have been exhibited
in major museums and galleries around the world. View

The Designer - Mayo Bucher
 1963 Born in Zurich, Switzerland.
1981-1986 Studied graphic design at the Schule fur Gestaltung,
Zurich.
1987 Established independent studio for art and design.
1989 Married the artist Seraina Feuerstein (to later become
parents of four children).
1995-2000 Executive board of the Schweizerisher Werkbund
SWB, Zurich.
1998 Became AGI member (Alliance Graphique Internationale).
1996-97-99 Guest lecturer at the Higher School of Art
and Design, Lucerne,
Switzerland.
2001 Guest lecturer at the Hochschule fiir Grafik und
Buch (HGB), Leipzig. |
